Financial members* of the club are invited to nominate members for positions on the Executive and Management Committee for the 2022/23 season.
All nominations must be submitted by two financial members of the club and the nominators must ensure that nominee is prepared to accept the nomination! Nominations can be made via the form below and must be received by 5pm on Friday 1st July 2022.
If there are no written nominations for any position, they may be accepted from the floor provided the nominee is present. Where there is more than one nomination for any position, a secret ballot will be held.
(* All financial Active, Reserve Active, Associate, Life Members and Officers shall have the right to attend and vote at the Annual General, General and Special General Meetings.)
Port Sorell SLSC is managed by two principal committees; the Executive Committee (which is responsible for the financial wellbeing of the Club), and the Management Committee (which manages the day to day affairs of the club). Members of the Executive Committee are also members of the Management Committee. Special committees can be established to assist in the management of the club.
There are forty positions provided for in the Club constitution, however many of these are not filled each year. The positions which were filled and comprised the Management Committee for 2021/22 have been highlighted below with an asterisk(*).
We note that there is nothing within the Constitution which prevents a member nominating themselves for a position. If you are interested in being part of the committee, please feel free to nominate yourself!
